I graduated from I.I.T India and came to U.S. for higher studies in Engineering 20 years back. After working for a few years in Austin, Texas as a design engineer, I went back for a M.B.A at Harvard Business School. I have worked for number of global companies in senior leadership and management positions. Over the years I have advised number of students on college admission.
Passionate about history and culture, I spent twelve years living and teaching in a variety of countries, including Cambodia, Russia and Venezuela.

Amanda is a teacher with over twelve years of experience working with students in various capacities including as a tutor and a counselor. She holds a Master’s degree from Colorado Technical University and a Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University. Her passions are: getting people excited about learning, and mentoring teens so that they have the tools they need to not only become great students, but the successful leaders of tomorrow. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys writing, podcasting, reading, and exploring New York City.
Professor Marlis is an academic and consultant with over fifteen years of teaching experience. She was educated at St. John's College (the Great Books School) and Harvard University. She taught at Villanova University and the State University of New York. She is currently a member of the faculty at Marist College. She has traveled to numerous college campuses for conferences and meetings, and so she can offer inside information on many of these schools. She also serves on the executive board of the Harvard Club of the Hudson Valley.
Born and raised in Venezuela I truly understand the daunting process of applying to college, especially if you are an international student! I attended an international school for the entire duration of my academic career. I then flew the nest and moved to New York to get my degree. Through many twists and turns I ended up working education. I have been working with students of all ages for six years now. My responsibilities include teaching, private tutoring and of course college counseling.
Anjali, a lawyer by trade, has always had a passion for shaping words into stories. With over 10 years of experience mentoring students on their college admissions journeys, including perfecting their application essays, she is committed to helping students find their unique voice. Prior to working with Stoodnt.com, she successfully led a 25-person college admissions consultant team for three years as the Consulting Operations Manager for the Bay Area’s largest educational consulting firm. Her experience there included assisting dozens of students gain entrance into the Ivies and other top institutions through helping them identifying the strongest direction for their overall application based on their varied life experiences. Anjali attended U.C. Berkeley, NYU, and Miami University, and holds degrees in doctorate and masters' level degrees in law and public policy.

Dan graduated from Harvard magna cum laude with an A.B. degree in History and Literature and a Citation in French. Subsequently, he earned a J.D. degree from Georgetown Law. Dan has also completed extensive education-related coursework at the University of California at Irvine and the Relay Graduate School of Education.
Dan’s skills as an educator led to his selection by Teach for America as a promising teacher of underserved urban students. He taught New York City charter school students as a certified science teacher. He also created and administered school-wide academic tutoring programs, achieving stellar improvements in literacy and mathematics.
Due to his extensive background in a broad spectrum of education contexts, Dan is an ideal resource to coordinate all of your tutoring and educational consulting needs. He relishes the opportunity to assist students with academic achievement and admissions. He is also an expert writing consultant and editor, having published in a wide variety of genres and styles including legal commentary, editorials, and travel writing. Additionally, his memoir Pageland about his experiences as a U.S. House of Representatives page was published in 2014.

She earned a Certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from UCLA, an MA in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art & Design, and a BS in Visual Arts from Purchase College. She is an Associate member of IECA, and Professional member of NACAC, HECA and NEACAC.
I have a Ph.D. in Political Science and have taught at both large research universities and small select liberal arts colleges for 15 years.
