      Career in Waste Management

      Waste Management includes things needed to manage waste from the first step to its final disposal. Waste Management primarily includes – collection, transport, treatment and the eventual dumping of waste with a comprehensive check and guidelines. Waste Management includes both, solid or liquid waste produced while extracting raw materials, processing of raw materials into final products as well as from other human activities.       Types of Waste Management Courses

       

      Undergraduates Courses: You will have to complete your ten plus two in Science stream with Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects. You are then eligible to take admission in a degree course or in related undergrad courses like earth sciences and environmental science.

      Salary

      For beginners the pay package will be between Rs. 1,80,0000 and Rs 2,10,0000 annually. At the senior level or after some years of experience, the package will be slated at Rs 2,40,0000 to Rs 3,80,0000 per year. A Waste Management Officer or Operations Manager earns more.
