Stoodnt Assessment

The school is known for its strong social activism, ranking top among schools of its size in sending volunteers to the Peace Corps. Between 55 and 60 percent of students participate in study abroad programs during their time at Grinnell. As a teaching and learning community, the College holds that knowledge is a good to be pursued both for its own sake and for the intellectual, moral, and physical well-being of individuals and of society at large.
