About Ankan

Biography:

Ankan is currently working as a Project Manager - Supply Technology at Zalando, Europe's No. 1 e-commerce company for fashion. Prior to that, Ankan has a strong background in product management, acquired during his 3.5 year stint with Sandvik Materials Technology (Swedish Company), where he worked in client-facing roles for marquee customers. He has wide experience in the energy sector and has led several installations with clean energy solutions to reduce carbon footprint. Prior to working at Sandvik, Ankan spent some time at ArcelorMittal USA to develop automotive-grade steel.

Ankan has received MBA admits (with scholarships) from IE Business School (Spain), ESMT Berlin (Germany), and Frankfurt School of Finance and Management (Germany). He pursued his MBA from ESMT Berlin.

Earlier, Ankan did his MS in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Idaho with 100% scholarship and stipend, USA. His MS thesis on advanced steels for nuclear reactor has been published in several high impact factor SCI-journal papers and conferences. Before that, Ankan has completed his Bachelors in Metallurgical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
