About Ramdas

Biography:

Ramdas is a former corporate executive with over two decades of corporate experience in the US and India. He is currently a management consultant and angel investor based out of Chennai, India. He was formerly the VP of Corporate Strategy for Pitney Bowes, Inc. (Stamford, CT), and prior to that, he worked in Corporate Strategy at Freescale Semiconductor (Austin, TX), helping steer the sale of the company to Blackstone in an $18B LBO.

Additionally, Ramdas also worked at McKinsey as a Management Consultant. Currently, he is active as an angel investor, with a portfolio of 13 companies at various stages of growth.

Ramdas enjoys counseling both undergraduates as well as graduate students for both STEM (MS, Ph.D.) and non-STEM disciplines (MBA, JD/LLB, MA/M.Phil.).

Education: BS (Electrical Engineering) at the University of Texas at Austin, MS (Electrical Engineering) from the  University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and  MBA, Harvard Business School.
