About Rubin

Biography:

Rubin has been formally mentoring and assisting high-achieving individuals apply to leading master's and PhD programs across fields, globally (primarily in the US) as a freelance higher education consultant since 2018. He specializes in 1:1 mentoring and producing high-quality written material for graduate program applications. He is an ecologist by training, and has worked with leading non-profits in the US and India, before he transitioned to being a full-time higher education consultant.

Rubin holds a Master of Science in Natural Resources and Environment, the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is also the producer and host of 'After the Master', a podcast through which he brings the diverse experiences of recent master's graduates across countries to budding professionals and aspirants. He has also worked as a Senior Research Fellow at Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (Bengaluru, India) and The Nature Conservancy (Minnesota, USA).
