About Malini


<p>As a <strong>National Editor of Education Times</strong> with <strong><em>The Times of India</em></strong> for over a decade, Malini Sen has mentored many students through their higher education pathways in India and abroad. She played a key role in shaping the Times Scholar program and launched Mission Admission, a counselling forum for students in India going to college. Malini was also the editor of two annual books focussing on study and career opportunities for students in India and overseas, titled, <strong><em>Times Higher Education</em></strong> and <strong><em>Times Study Abroad</em></strong>.</p> <p> </p> <p>Malini was a jury member for <strong><em>Rolex Young Laureates Programme</em></strong>; part of the selection panel for <strong><em>Charles Wallace Journalism Scholarship</em></strong> and speaker at the <strong><em>Undergraduate Awards in Dublin</em></strong>. Besides, Malini has been an invited speaker in numerous international education forums in India and abroad.</p> <p> </p> <p>She completed a <strong>Master’s in English</strong> (<em>University of Delhi</em>), a <strong>Master’s in Gender Studies</strong> (<em>University of Leeds</em>), and pursued postgraduate work in <em>User Interface Design and Evaluation with the Open University</em> in the UK. Malini currently works as an independent journalist, student mentor and media advisor for foreign universities.</p>
